California privacy notice

This notice supplements our privacy policy and applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA.

Categories we collect

• Identifiers — name, work email, company, and IP address.
• Commercial information — services enquired about and engagement records.
• Internet activity — pages viewed, referring source, and session data.
• Professional information — job title and employer.

We collect these directly from you when you submit a form or book a call, and automatically through analytics when you browse the site.

Why we collect it

To respond to enquiries, deliver and administer our services, operate and improve the website, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell or share your data

TechTorq does not sell personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

Your rights

• Know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we hold about you.
• Delete — request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
• Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Limit — request that we limit use of sensitive personal information, though we do not collect any.
• Non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge different prices, or provide a different quality of service because you exercised a right.

How to make a request

Email mail@techtorq.com with "CCPA request" in the subject line. We will verify your identity by matching the information you provide against our records, and respond within 45 days. An authorised agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.

Retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from last contact, and client records for the length of the engagement plus any period required for tax and accounting purposes.
